California Classified School Employee Teacher Credentialing Program
Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) is one of a select group of agencies picked to offer the California Classified School Employee Teacher Credentialing Program in order to help school districts address the demand for credentialed teachers. The purpose of the grant is to attract and recruit classified school employees to participate in a program designed to support the completion of a degree and teacher preparation program leading to a California Multiple Subject, Single Subject, or Education Specialist teaching credential and provide instructional service as fully credentialed teachers.
The core foundation of the program is to provide financial assistance, resources, guidance, and overall support from start to finish while concurrently meeting the teacher shortage in California. |
